The water required for waterjet cutter equipment is generally ordinary water, but good water quality is important, which not only helps to improve the sealing performance of the pump, but also the reliability and service life of the valve, and it also extends the life of the nozzle and produces a high-efficiency jet. Significance.
The working pressure of the equipment is extremely high, the nozzle is very small, some small particle impurities and scale in the cutting water source, and the corrosion ions have certain influence on the service life and processing precision of the equipment. Therefore, the water source should be processed before being supplied. Equipment.
In order to ensure proper operation of the pump, valve, seal and nozzle, a filter or filter is provided at the pump inlet as a cleaning device. When the cleanliness of the water source is low, multi-stage filtration should be considered to reduce the number of times the filter or filter is cleaned. At higher filtration accuracy, due to the large loss of filter resistance, it should be ensured that there is sufficient pressure at the inlet of the filter system. If necessary, a pre-centrifugal pump can be installed (this should be the case for pumps with higher pressure) to ensure that the suction system is not cavitation occurs and the continuity of inhalation is maintained.
 The actual water treatment requirements are related to the following three points:
1. Water quality of the water source
2. The life of the nozzle used
3. Continuous working time of the water jet cutting machine.

3. Water dissociation device
The water quality in different regions is very different. For example, in some areas, the content of Ga+ and Mg+ in water is relatively high, thus forming so-called “hard water”. This kind of water actually has a certain impact on the loss of the equipment itself, which requires the water used in the equipment to be processed in the early stage. Here you can also see that the function and use of the waterjet is so strong that it is inseparable from the water quality.
The water treatment machine's pre-treatment of water includes water filtration and water softening:
1. The purpose of water filtration is mainly to eliminate tiny impurities and suspended solids in water. Water filtration is usually achieved by a multi-stage series filter device. Usually equipped with three layers of filtering equipment, after three layers of filtration, there will be no more suspended matter in the water, and then enter the supercharger after being pressurized by the booster pump. The rear stage of the filter usually needs to be equipped with a pressure difference meter. When the filter element is clogged, the water pressure is insufficient. At this time, the system will automatically stop and alarm, reminding the operator to replace the filter element in time to ensure the safety of the system.
2. The method of softening water usually has methods such as boiling, ion exchange, reverse osmosis and the like. The following describes the basic principles and use of softened water.
(1) System function: The system adopts filter, activated carbon filter and security filter in series filter group. Such combined equipment can not only remove residual chlorine and suspended matter in water, but also better and effectively guarantee the service life of resin. The resin used in the water softener can effectively remove calcium and magnesium ions from the water to achieve the effect of softening water. And the water softener has automatic regeneration function.
(2) Test on water quality: In order to facilitate the understanding of water quality, the water suspension can be used to test the suspended solids, hardness and pH of the feed water. This is critical to the softening of water quality.
According to the test, it is best to use a deionized water nozzle at the same life. However, it must be noted that excessive removal of impurities in the water will make the water more corrosive, because the elements in the material in contact with the water will attempt to replace the removed elements in the water, so the water quality is carried out using a mixed bed dissociation system. Excessive processing, which in turn hurts the use of the device.
